RCO
Recovery Community Organizations are independent, non-profit organizations led by local people in recovery and their allies. Allies may themselves be people in
long-term recovery, their families, and friends,
recovery-focused professionals or simply concerned citizens with an interest in providing support. Simply put, DuPage RCO is an organization for people in recovery, by people in recovery. Our work is grassroots and reflective of the community we serve.
Recovery Community Organizations
Offer only non-clinical services which differ from treatment programs
Respect and support multiple pathways to recovery
Engage people in recovery, their families, and other stakeholders in a person-centered process of decision-making
Conduct activities and plan recovery-themed events for the community
Events
RCO’s goal is to provide enjoyable activities, educational opportunities, NARCAN training, and support groups. Connection is the heart of our community that enriches our relationships. We are building and supporting community togetherness by reducing stigma for people with lived experience.
