Serenity House is excited to announce that we’re a featured organization on iHeartTheBand.

What is that and how does it impact us?

IHeartTheBand is a unique place where musicians from all over generously donate used guitar strings to be turned into handmade bracelets (while keeping them out of landfills, too.) Participating bands choose an organization to receive a portion of the profits from each sale. Local band TLB chose us—and we’re thrilled!

This effort means a lot to us, especially because we know those immersed in the entertainment industry are often affected by the lifestyle that can come with it. With the help of our driven and caring staff, we’ve been able to help people with this lifestyle, amongst so many others, find their road to recovery and stay on it.

We’re here now and always to help our local community live their best, sober lives.

FOR THE LOVE OF THE COMMUNITY

Another way we are opening the doors of recovery in the community is by offering our all-new recovery coaching: Serenity House’s CCAR Recovery Coach Academy.

There is life-changing power in this form of strengths-based support for people with addictions or those in recovery from alcohol, other drugs, codependency, or other addictive behaviors.

Recovery coaches work with people both in and free from substance abuse routines, and bring foundational assistance to both whether that’s here at Serenity House, or out in the community.

Our recovery coaches can help a client find resources for harm reduction, detox, treatment, family support, and education, local or online support groups; or help a client create a change plan to recover on their own. The training is for non-profit employees, recovery persons, and recovery persons' family members.

Join us for this training, conveniently scheduled on Friday nights and Saturday days.
